Adobe extension
Grade analog looks on your timeline, non-destructively.
The Lost Media Emulator extension docks as a panel in Premiere Pro and After Effects. Drop a clip on the timeline, pick from 128 looks, and the grade lands as a native, keyframable effect, never baked in. The same library and render engine as the Mac app, 116 keyframable controls, inside the edit you already have.

How it sits in your edit
01
Add the panel to your workspace
Install once, then open it from Window ▸ Extensions ▸ Lost Media Emulator. The panel docks wherever you like and stays with your layout, the same as any other Adobe panel.
- Window ▸ Extensions ▸ Lost Media Emulator
- Docks into the workspace you already use
- Premiere Pro / After Effects 2023 or later

02
Pick a look from the panel
The panel carries the same 128‑look library as the Mac app, plus ready‑made recipes that pair a capture format with a display — Home VHS on a CRT TV, Betacam on a broadcast PVM, Super 8 at the cinema. Click one with a clip selected and it grades on the timeline.
- 128 looks, plus capture-and-display recipes
- The same 128‑look library as the Mac app
- Click to apply it to the selected clip

03
Looks land as native effects
A look applies as seven effects under Video Effects ▸ Lost Media Emulator: CRT, Digital, Film, Mask, Signal, Tint and VHS. They sit in Effect Controls and stack with everything else, like stock Premiere effects.
- Seven effects: CRT, Digital, Film, Mask, Signal, Tint, VHS
- Lives in Effect Controls beside your other effects
- Masks, stacks and blends like any native effect

04
Keyframe any of the 116 parameters
Every control is keyframable in Effect Controls. Ramp tracking error across a cut, fade scanlines up on a title, animate chromatic aberration to a beat. The source clip stays untouched. Pull the effect and it is gone.
- 116 keyframable parameters
- Animate any look over time, on the clip
- Non-destructive: the source stays untouched

One engine, two surfaces
The extension renders the same 128 looks as the Mac app, with 116 controls. Build a grade here, bake it to a .cube LUT to round‑trip with DaVinci Resolve — or get the native Resolve plugin (beta) with the Ultimate Bundle.
